protocol for taking students out of school during the instructional day / El protocolo para sacar a los estudiantes de la escuela durante la hora de clases

The protocol for taking students out of school during the instructional day is as follows:

1. Write a note for your student to turn into the office first thing in the morning.  The note should state what time the student needs to meet you in the office and the reason for leaving OR You may call 485-2400 ext. 212 to inform the school that your student needs to leave school during school hours.  If you do not get a “live” person, leave a message stating the name of the student and the time the student needs to leave.  A message will be delivered to the student so he/she may be excused from class.

2.  In all cases, parents/guardians MUST meet and sign students in the front office.   This is imperative; it is for the safety of our students.  Any student who leaves school without properly signing out will be considered truant.
