About Us

Davidson Middle School’s campus in central San Rafael serves students in grades 6-8. We are proud to serve an ethnically and culturally diverse student population. Davidson has served generations of San Rafael families, while also warmly welcoming recent immigrants. Davidson’s mission is:

To provide quality and supported instruction to our multicultural community. We emphasize hard work, cooperation and problem-solving to prepare students to be successful in their future endeavors.

Davidson’s success is made possible by the work of dedicated staff and committed community support. Our parent organizations help provide enhanced experiences and additional support programs. Davidson is guided by the San Rafael City School District values of equity, community and joy, as well as our vision statement:

Every student will be a confident learner, effective communicator, critical thinker, and positive contributor to the global community. Parents, students, and educators will partner to create responsive and rigorous learning experiences in order for all students to achieve future success.
