Located north of San Francisco in beautiful Marin County, Davidson Middle School sits on a sprawling campus in central San Rafael, which serves as the economic and cultural center of Marin and offers both a small-town atmosphere and a lively urban environment.

We are proud that DMS serves an ethnically and culturally diverse student population. The school has served generations of San Rafael families, while also warmly welcoming recent immigrants. In inclusive, safe and collaborative environments that are ideal for middle-school aged students, students have opportunities to discover and grow their unique interests. The District's Graduate Profile articulates the skills needed to succeed in this rapidly changing world, and DMS is committed to developing these skills so every student is prepared for high school and ready to pursue their goals.

Students attending Bahia Vista, Coleman, Glenwood, Laurel Dell, San Pedro and Sun Valley elementary schools attend Davidson.  Some Venetia Valley students also choose to attend Davidson.
